Where I am at....(6/21)
Baylor continued to make a strong case for Finn Walker to choose to end up in Waco. I think of all the uncommitted guys he is the one the staff needs the most with Smithson Valley safety Noah Johnson being right there with him in that order. The 6-foot-7, 260-pounder is choosing between Baylor, Oklahoma State and Kansas State with a decision coming this week. My lean is that he chooses Baylor but I am not confident in that enough to put in a prediction yet. I expect the Cowboys, specifically, to not go away quietly as he inches closer to the decision date.Speaking of Johnson, my prediction is still in for him to choose Baylor but the BYU official visit certainly threw a complication int his recruitment. We will see how this plays out but I haven't shifted yet.Coppell cornerback Jaden Bibbs is set to make his decision on June 23rd as he decides between Baylor, Utah, and Houston. I expect the Utes to win this battle and I have a prediction in. Utah really, really valued him and made a major push on his official visit there.Crean Lutheran (CA) quarterback Caden Jones loved his Baylor visit and the staff has been pushing hard for him. I don't think the Bears are out of this. But Arizona is still the favorite here with his brother playing there and two of his teammates heading to Tucson. It just is hard for me to think he will not go to Arizona even though I have not heard anything concrete one way or another yet.Thompson (AL) linebacker Trenton McCorvey is still in decision-making mode following his South Florida visit. He has strong connections with the Bulls but both Baylor and Arkansas have been battling to try to land him in their respective classes. I felt Baylor had momentum on the visit due to his connection with Jamar Chaney. He is making a decision July 1st and my slight lean is USF.Thompson (AL) cornerback/nickel Micah Fleming took an official visit to Stanford over the weekend as he gets close to a decision between the Bears and Cardinal. He is a very athletic and shifty prospect who could fit in as a slot cornerback or nickel in the Bears scheme. There is still work to do here leading into his June commitment date but he has been trending Baylor for a while. Stanford would have needed to bring a big offer to make this one happen and that could be the case.North Carolina EDGE commit Brayden Booth is one I would continue to keep an eye on throughout the summer. Baylor is not quitting here and Booth is still very interested in the Bears. We will see how things play out but it was pretty shocking to see how quick his decision was made while on his North Carolina trip.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
