Utah transfer Reese Ross has announced her commitment to Baylor women’s basketball, according to her social media. Ross is head coach Nicki Collen’s first commitment of the offseason.

The 6-foot-1 forward averaged 9.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in her junior campaign with the Utes, shooting 47.8% from the field and 32.8% from beyond the arc.

Ross is a strong rebounder, with a career 8.0% offensive-rebound percentage and 24.0% defensive-rebound percentage. She ranked second among Utah players in RAPM.

The South Dakota native projects as Baylor’s starting power forward, replacing Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, who averaged a double-double this year (10.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game) and earned All-Big 12 honors in each of her four seasons in the Green and Gold.
