Men's Golf: Heard Cracks Top 10 at Big 12 Championship

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – UConn transfer Alex Heard, the medalist at last year’s Big East tournament, fired back-to-back rounds of 1-under 69 on Monday and is tied for seventh at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club. 

Avoiding the big numbers, Baylor shot 5-over 285 in the morning round and came back with a 4-over 284 to sit in seventh place at 9-over 569 through the first 36 holes, in front of four top-50 teams in the 16-team tournament.
