Baylor baseball (28-16) handled business with a dominant 15-4 victory over Sam Houston (9-36) on Tuesday evening at Don Sanders Stadium.

Baylor baseball (13-3) extended its win streak to five games and rounded out its homestand with a 9-2 victory over Sam Houston (3-13) on Tuesday evening at Baylor Ballpark.

Head coach Mitch Thompson’s squad has continued its torrid start to the season with another 4-0 week that included a Tuesday takedown of Tarleton and a weekend sweep of Loyola Marymount in which the Bears outscored the Lions 24 to 8.

Jayden Nunn and VJ Edgecombe took questions along with their coach after the Bears’ home-opening win.

Seven Bears reached double figure scoring on the night with 12 total Bears scoring. Jayden Nunn led the way with 19 points while Norchad Omier posted another double-double with 18 points and 10 boards.
