Baylor baseball (13-3) extended its win streak to five games and rounded out its homestand with a 9-2 victory over Sam Houston (3-13) on Tuesday evening at Baylor Ballpark.
Head coach Mitch Thompson’s squad has continued its torrid start to the season with another 4-0 week that included a Tuesday takedown of Tarleton and a weekend sweep of Loyola Marymount in which the Bears outscored the Lions 24 to 8.
Seven Bears reached double figure scoring on the night with 12 total Bears scoring. Jayden Nunn led the way with 19 points while Norchad Omier posted another double-double with 18 points and 10 boards.
