Baylor Flips Three-Star Wide Receiver Josiah Morgan

Ruston (LA) High School 2027 wide receiver Josiah Morgan‍ has flipped his commitment from Houston to Baylor following his official visit in Waco. He becomes the first wide receiver commit in the class.

“Me and my family has built a strong relationship with Coach Dallas Baker!” Morgan said. “They have made it clear how much of a priority I am to them.”

The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder has really good speed, an ability to create yards after catch, a nose for the end zone (eight touchdowns as a junior) and a ceiling for growth at the position.

Morgan held offers from Arkansas, Texas A&M, Tulane, Houston, Memphis and Old Dominion, among others.

He is a composite three-star prospect and the No. 22-rated recruit in the state of Louisiana.
