This guy might fit our current roster better than Yessoufou would IMO. We need shooters around Mingo and Williams.

Better fit and cheaper, allowing us to fill other needs.

Presumably. Who knows what anyone costs anymore?

Glad to see Scott Drew going after guys with multiple years of eligibility left!! This is a big step in the right direction for the program as a whole. Now we need to see these guys perform on the court.

I hope is a good get but on tape appears like another Celestine. I sure hope to be wrong.

Celestine did almost all his scoring from the 3-point line. Over 80 percent of Celiscar's scoring comes from inside the arc. Celiscar is also a much better rebounder and passer than Celestine ever was.

I don't think the two are very similar players at all really. We'll see if Celiscar's game translates to the Big 12, but he's a much more complete player than Jalen Celestine ever was.

I sure hope his game translates. We have swung and missed on so many the past few years, it's hard not to be skeptical.

I don't blame you at all. I'm done buying in to any transfer sight unseen for the same reasons you are. But I do like that Celiscar looks more like the skilled, stat-stuffing wings/small forwards that we've had success with in the past.

Our last Yale transfer worked out pretty well.
