Baylor baseball is nearly a month into the portal cycle and has yet to add a position player. The Bears are losing star first baseman Tyce Armstrong to the MLB Draft, as well as outfielders Ty Johnson and Caleb Bergman to graduation. The only portal exits were infielder Robert De La Garza, who has since committed to Incarnate Word, and star shortstop Travis Sanders, who committed to Tennessee, but is likely to stay in the MLB Draft.
