Eh, I thought it was fine. The up-tempo had them back heels the previous two plays, so 3rd and short once again made sense. We're getting to the point, though, where running three times in a row is great, but let's bleed the clock a little bit.

Our freshman backs have talent. Its frustrating seeing the side to side, but Knighten is talented. I'm not as down on him as many here. Turner is also very good. One more year on strength and they could be special. That said, I have no faith in the staff with development.

To be fair, he has protected the ball much better and been much better at knowing when to go down this game that his previous ones.

Do both Dawson and Washington come back after injury-riddled years? We have more highly rated freshman RBs coming in. Seems like we're honestly going to be overcrowded next season at the position.

Washington was on record in the off-season saying that he wanted to declare for the NFL after this year, but maybe that will change as he hasn't had an amazing year this year. Running back in the NFL is tough though - you have a very limited number of good years, so it may behoove a player to declare earlier rather than later

I really think the long road trip from eastern time zone for an 11am is a factor. But I'm sure Baylor was feeling desperation to have a big game. And I don't think UCF is all that good.

Either way, put this one on paper.

They need to play even better than this the next three weeks.

Really lucked out. Bad play selection. Still dumb to go for that fourth down. A long low percentage pass play, took a great catch.

Glad it worked out, but still discouraging series. You can't just depend on plays like that and have zero consistency a this point of the game.

But score one for Arandalytics.

We need to stop dicking around on offense and put this damn game away. The defense has done its part. The offense hasn't scored a touchdown since the first quarter.
